New Starters...

Please call to speak to Cheryl, Amber or Paula if you'd like to learn more about our preschool or to arrange a visit.
We would love to show you around our wonderful village setting.

You can download the registration forms below or pick up a copy from preschool.

If your child is nowhere near preschool age yet, don't worry about filling in the forms but do please still get in touch to register your interest early as this really helps us with planning our staffing.

  • This is the New Starter letter which gives lots of information about preschool and how we work
  • Here is the registration form with all of the information we need from you.  This also contains a 'consent form' to cover things like whether you give your permission for us to take your child out on local walks or to taste foods in preschool and whether you'd be happy for us to put a picture of your child on our website. This is the information sharing permission form.
  • Here is our Privacy Notice.
  • Please arrange a time just before your child starts to come in and read through our policies and procedures.
  • To help us get to know your child better, please fill in this document to let us know how much help your child needs and what their likes and dislikes are.
  • If you would like to claim funding for your child, you will need to complete a FE1 form.  This now includes a section to allow us to check whether we can claim extra funding to be used to benefit your child (pupil premium). Please ask the preschool staff for a FE1 form and do get in touch with Amber or Greg (treasurer) if you need any help filling in the form.
  • If you would like to claim funding for your child, we will need to see the original of your child's birth certificate (or passport) and will make a note of the certificate number/passport number as evidence for Derbyshire County Council that we have made this check.
