What a Difference a Day Makes!

Thank you to everyone who helped out today!  The garden day was a real success - we sanded and treated all of the planters, cleaned up the equipment, cleared out plenty of weeds, fixed the broken sand pit ready to have some fresh sand, trimmed the chestnut tree to allow more light into the garden and started painting the shed.

There is still more to do but some of our keen volunteers might even come back tomorrow to keep working!

As well as the fantastic amount of work that was done, there was a real feeling of community spirit with all of our volunteers mucking in and working together.
And a big thank-you too to everyone who baked or brought refreshments to keep us all going.
