Hi everyone! This week at pre-school we have continued to enjoy the train track. We love the small world villages we can build with it to go on journeys. We have been busy making some special cards for a special day on Sunday… keep your eyes peeled for those in bookbags! We looked at numbers and counting this week. We’ve been identifying numerals and matching them with the right number of objects. We’ve played outside LOADS. We’ve had an outdoor restaurant, made a chalk road, and played bowling with the balls and cones. We used the whiteboards and markers again to practice our pen control. We love how this slightly different resources has inspired more reluctant children to really explore their mark marking. Some children got really inspired to make some monsters on the craft table. We used triangles to make hair, ears and hands. On Thursday we did some threading. We made really long chains using the bobbins. This was great for developing our fine motor hand movements. On Friday we made the most of a sunny day and went to the park in the afternoon. We’re really lucky to have such a fab local park to make use of! We can make big movements on the equipment which is really fun. See you next week! Amber and Paula 😊 P.S- remember 30 hours funding codes for the Summer Term have to be applied for by March 31st!!!
