This week we have been looking at how we move our body because very soon (30th June) it will be our sports day.
On the games table, we played games which helped us learn about our body and how our body moves. We also had a super body puzzle which named all the parts of the body. In the garden, we have used our arms and legs to help us climb in and out of the sandpit and to go up and down the slide. We have also been starting to practice for some of our races in sports day. And we have been singing about part of the body too - "heads, shoulders, knees and toes......" On the craft table we have painted some wonderful big pictures on the easel and made pictures with big bits of paper and small bits of paper. On Tuesday Miss Bell came into preschool to read a story which everyone enjoyed and on Monday, the older children went into Big School with Paula and Amber to spend an hour with class 1. Everyone had fun and behaved really well and Miss Bell said that by the end it was as if they'd always been there which is great to hear as it sounds like everyone will settle in really well in September. On Saturday this week we will be having our garden morning and we hope that lots of people will turn up to help out Comments are closed.
