This week we have been looking at Bonfire Night and on the craft table we have been making bonfire pictures and firework pictures using glue and coloured glittery sand. This has allowed us to experiment with different textures and helped us to develop an interest in how things feel when we are creating our artwork.
Later on in the week we made our own poppies to remember the soldiers. We did some wonderful cutting and sticking and spoke about why we were making poppies. On the games table, we had out the shopping game. Learning to take turns and resolve any problems with our friends is something we do at preschool. Learning to initiate conversations and form relationships is important to us. With the lovely sunny weather, we have spent time in our garden. Our garden is getting ready for the colder winter weather to come. We have also played with the parachute this week which is always great fun. On the construction table, we played with the cogs and wheels and had lots of fun making all sort of things. Then we used our imagination and pretended the objects were something else. Letter / sound of the week is 'm' Comments are closed.
