This week we are looking at autumn. We are looking at nuts and seeds and cones and leaves and conkers. We are looking at changes in the climate as the weather becomes colder and in the environment through changes in plants and trees.
On the craft table we made some conker pictures using painted conkers and paper lined in a washing up bowl. We have also done some printing with apples; we are going to make an autumn wall display. On the maths table, we are looking at shapes and played with some shape jigsaws and shape matching games. We have been on autumn walks round the village, looking at how the village is changing during the season of autumn. In the garden, we have played at racing using big big steps. On the games table, we have been playing with the threading beads. This helps with our fine motor skills, our counting skills and our creativity. This week we are looking at the letter 't' and the sound it makes. Very excitingly, our Sainsburys voucher order arrived which was our new pop-up tunnel. All of the children loved crawling through the tunnel. THANK YOU to everyone who collected the vouchers for us. Comments are closed.
