We have had an exciting week this week as everyone is very much looking forward to Christmas!
We had our party on Monday and, even though he is very busy at this time of year, a certain someone in a red suit managed to drop off some presents for us (we didn't actually see him as he didn't have time to stop but we heard the bells from his sleigh and found the bag of presents he left. Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope you all have a lovely break and we will see you back on Tuesday 5th January. On Monday this week, we performed our nativity for our mums, dads and grandparents. Everyone had lots of fun and really well to remember actions, lines and lots of songs - what a great performance!
On the craft table this week we have been making reindeer hats for our Christmas party next week. It has been quite tricky to cut out the antlers but the hats now look fantastic and we are looking forward to wearing them. We have also been using the playdoh and enjoyed rolling, squashing and cutting. We have been using the weighing scales on the maths table. We have counted out objects to weigh and started to understand and use language such as 'more than' and 'less than' to compare things. Letter/sound of the week is 'u'. |
